Safe Streets for All, Transit that Works is a campaign advocating for safer streets in Chicago.

This is a fight for safety, transportation equity and justice, affordable housing, and climate action. We’re working towards a Chicago that supports people regardless of where they live and how they get around, whether they walk, roll, bike, take transit, or drive.

The Safe Streets for All, Transit that Works Mayoral Candidate Forum

On January 28, the Safe Streets for All, Transit that Works campaign held a mayoral candidate forum in front of a crowd of about 200 people. Both Brandon Johnson and Paul Vallas participated in the forum. Check out our video recording of the event (their segments are at 1:06:41 and 32:43 respectively).

Our Platform: Safe streets for all. transit that works.

The diverse organizations and voices of the Safe Streets for All, Transit that Works campaign developed a platform that identifies the most effective strategies to achieve safe streets and a world class public transit network in Chicago.

We believe these strategies can provide a road map for people in power to save lives and transform our city into a vibrant and safe place to get around.
